Verdict: The Ivanky MacBook Pro Docking Station is a versatile and capable little dock for a specific range of Mac laptops. We just have to hope Apple doesn’t change its port configurations or spacings. That said, this is a dock that’s designed to be used with a specific range of Mac laptops, so I guess that won’t be an issue for everyone. I would have preferred to see a removable cable with a USB-C port so that the dock could be used with a single port Mac.

These can be used for connecting peripherals like a mouse, keyboard and USB flash drives at speeds of up to 5Gbps. For those who want to upload photos or audio files from memory cards, there are slots for SD and microSD cards that can transfer files at speeds of up to 104 MB/s and will support maximum card capacities of 512GB.įor MacBook users who want to connect to an Ethernet network, Ivanky has provided an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port with up to 1,000 Mbps connectivity. Additionally, the hub provides four regular USB-A ports compliant with USB 3.0 standard. This makes the hub ideal for photographers, video editors and remote workers having to work at home using two screens. In addition to the muscular power delivery, the Ivanky dock can drive two external 4K monitors at refresh rates of up 60Hz.
